I just added more than 20 new paintings by Rick Bond to the gallery website! These fantastic new arrivals will all be featured in his upcoming solo exhibition MOSAIC, in the gallery from October 7th to 23rd, 2010.
An exhibition of rugged landscapes, European eclecticness and urban jazz unite to express human emotion in the most brilliant form.

Getting ready for a gallery exhibition is a ton of work. Depending on the size of works, solo or group exhibitions (in my gallery that is) can feature between 20 and 40 pieces. This one in particular has been on the calendar for about a year and has been in full planning mode for more than 8 weeks. I'll share the step by step exhibition planning details in a future post. For now, here are some of Rick Bonds newest paintings to enjoy!
Birds of Estuary, 11x14 acrylic on canvas by Rick Bond
Edge of Spirit Lake, 36x12 acrylic on canvas by Rick Bond
Cobblestone Streets, 24x20 acrylic on canvas by Rick Bond
Romantic Notes #1, 36x12 acrylic on canvas by Rick Bond

To view all 27 paintings featured in this exhibition please visit the MOSAIC exhibition page. If you live in Winnipeg and are interested in seeing this work in person the exhibition runs October 7th to 23rd at Woodlands Gallery, 535 Academy Road. Please join us at the Opening Reception on Thursday October 7th from 6:30 to 9:00 pm to enjoy refreshments and meet Rick Bond in person. He lives in BC and will be in Winnipeg for this one night only.
